8 Millennia LLC (“8 Millennia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a digital media agency that builds, operates, and transfers high-quality digital assets (including a curated “vault” of social media accounts) and provides services such as lead generation, content management, and rebranding (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information. It applies to our websites, communications, assets we operate, and any other interactions you have with us (together, the “Sites” and, with the Services, the “Offerings”).

1) Who we are & roles
For personal information we collect for our own purposes (e.g., marketing, Site analytics), 8 Millennia LLC is the controller (or “business” under U.S. state laws).
When we process personal information on behalf of a client (e.g., managing the client’s social accounts or audiences), we act as a processor/service provider and handle your data only under our client’s instructions.

2) Information we collect
Identifiers & contact info: name, email, phone, billing/shipping info, employer, job title.
Account & authentication data: usernames/handles, profile info, role/permissions; if we are granted access to your or your company’s third-party platform accounts, we process the credentials or tokens necessary to connect (we require least-privilege access and 2FA where available).
Commercial data: records of Services purchased, SOWs, invoices, asset transfer records.
Content & media: posts, captions, creative briefs, feedback, metadata, and any content you or our clients upload or ask us to manage.
Usage/technical data: device/browser type, IP address, cookie IDs, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location, and performance diagnostics.
Leads & prospect data: contact details from you, our clients, referrals, events, or licensed lead providers.
Payment data: payment method details processed by our PCI-compliant processors (we do not store full card numbers).
Public/third-party sources: publicly available social-profile info, posts, and metrics; third-party platforms and data partners consistent with their notices and your choices.
3) How we use information
We use personal information to:
Provide, secure, and improve the Offerings; operate content calendars; manage campaigns; and administer asset builds/operations/transfers.
Authenticate connections to third-party platforms and maintain logs of authorized access.
Perform lead generation and audience operations as instructed by clients.
Personalize Sites; perform analytics; detect/prevent fraud and abuse.
Communicate with you (including service, transactional, and marketing messages).
Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights, safety, and our assets.
Legal bases (EEA/UK/CH): contract performance; legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement, B2B marketing); consent (where required); legal obligations.
4) Cookies & tracking
We and our providers use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar tech for site functionality, analytics, and (where permitted) advertising measurement. You can control cookies via browser settings and available consent tools on our Sites.
5) How we share information
We may share personal information with:
Service providers/sub-processors (hosting, analytics, security, payment, email, customer support);
Platforms/partners when integrating or operating accounts you authorize;
Clients (when we act as processor, we share under their instructions);
Business transfers (merger, sale, or similar);
Legal/safety (to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights/safety);
With consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information for money. For California/CPRA and similar laws, we do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising except possibly on our own Sites; if and when we do, you can opt-out via “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” links where provided.
6) International data transfers
We may transfer, store, and process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and additional measures.
7) Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, MFA/2FA, logging). No method is 100% secure; please use strong, unique passwords and enable MFA where possible.
8) Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We delete or de-identify data per our retention schedules and client instructions.
9) Social-account operations & transfers
When we operate or transfer digital assets (e.g., social media accounts):
We strive to remove or minimize personal data not necessary for ongoing use.
We follow platform rules and contracts and require clients/buyers to do the same.
We will coordinate credential rotations and permission changes upon transfer.
If you believe your personal data is present in an asset we operate, contact us to request removal where feasible.
10) Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, transfer, opt-out of certain processing (e.g., targeted ads or profiling), appeal denials, and withdraw consent.
EEA/UK/CH: You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
California/CPRA and similar: You may request to know, delete, correct, opt-out of sale/sharing, and limit use of sensitive personal information (which we use only to provide the Services). We will verify and respond as required by law. Authorized agents may submit requests with proper authorization.

11) Children
Our Offerings are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
12) Third-party links & platforms
Our Sites may link to third-party websites and platforms. Their practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
